Focusing on the Good God Is Doing
What we choose to focus on shapes how we experience life. When our attention stays fixed on what is negative, discouragement grows—but when we intentionally focus on what is good, our hearts begin to shift.
Scripture reminds us, “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8)
Focusing on the positive doesn’t mean ignoring challenges; it means trusting God in the midst of them. It’s choosing gratitude over grumbling, hope over heaviness, and faith over fear.
As you move through today, invite God to help you renew your mind and guard your thoughts. Look for the good He is doing—even in small ways—and allow His peace to settle your heart.
